The group headquarter is located in Farsund and operates from a number of modern facilities in the Kristiansand Region. TRATEC NORCON AS head office is located in Vennesla. The company develop, designs and supplies automation solutions to offshore, marine, industry, transport and municipal technology. The systems include process control, robotization, Control systems transport, Waste water and Water supply control systems, SCADA systems, crane and winch control, machine control, ballast / cargo control, machine arm, Power Management, ESD systems and more. This in addition to a competent and experienced service department.
Responsibilities
- Technical responsibility in the quotation team, feasibility studies and delivery projects for industry, based on automation & Robotization.
- Technical system responsibility in multidisciplinary projects.
- The role offers balance between being project operational and more general tasks, such as ensuring compliance with the Machinery Directive.
- System responsibility involves ensuring that important elements related to complete robot cells, such as safety aspects, transport solutions, programming and technical solutions are according to the contract and specification.
- Participate in technical forums and internally at Tratec Norcon focusing on new technology to create growth and strategic development of the company.

Qualifications
- Higher technical education (Master).
- Experience with technical main responsibility in multidisciplinary robotization projects.
- Good expertise in robotization, automation, cybernetics or mechatronics.
- Knowledge within design of industrial robot cells and associated regulations are very advantageous.
- Must be fluent in English and a Nordic language.
- Experience with the use of design tools, like Robotstudio, is beneficial.
